NEW EXERCISE PROGRAM FOR OSTEOPOROSIS COMES TO SANDY SPRINGS, GA

SANDY SPRINGS, GA, 10/15/2020 – The award-winning, medically-endorsed Buff Bones® workout for bone and joint health is now available in SANDY SPRINGS at REBELLIOUS INTL. The exercise system uses varied and specific bone-strengthening and balance techniques for a safe option for people with osteoporosis and arthritis. Former U.S. Surgeon General Richard Carmona, M.D. recommended the workout, calling it “an excellent resource to continue to improve America’s bone health.” Buff Bones® was created by renowned bone health and exercise expert Rebekah Rotstein, who was just 28 when diagnosed with osteoporosis, a condition of excessive low bone mass and fragility. She found that people with osteoporosis and osteopenia (its precursor) were often uncertain of what type of exercise to do and concerned about safety. “The Buff Bones® system is...

All About that Bass

Excitedly checking out photos from the latest Rebellious photoshoot. I stumble upon this picture. Gorgeous sunrise, soft colors, the waves; it is as if I can hear the ocean. Then there is me, my signature hair bun, a favorite outfit blending with the beautiful background, my new favorite lip color gloss. Then I crack up! Because my eyes fall upon my ‘bass’. Man, it surely does get attention.   The old me would have been kind of horrified. The new me is smiling in gratitude.   …. Then the thought of this blog came upon …. ----- If you have read my story and how I got into fitness, you know it was because of my growing curves and me being bullied for my ‘big butt’. This butt is what got...

September 3rd, 1992 is the date when my family got reunited in the great country of U.S.A.

Dad had arrived here a few months earlier. He was invited as an exchange scientist at University of Georgia Department of Biochemistry.   Couple of months later, mom, my brother and I made the flight across the ocean. It was supposed to be a 6-month trip. This was 28 years ago.   Dad was a dreamer. In communist Bulgaria, he would make the bold statement that one day he will take his family to the U.S.A. Some people laughed, others politely smiled.   When he decided to bring us all here, most thought he was insane. Life savings spent to buy 3 airline tickets. Leaving close extended family behind. Coming to a new country with "safety" guaranteed for other 3 months. What are you thinking?!?   The old me and new me have...

Who Am I?

As the entrepreneurial journey got going, I had to ask and answer a few fundamental questions:   Who am I? Why do I think and behave the way I do?   There was much digging into my childhood. Tell me about your childhood. Hm! I can’t remember anything really traumatic or off from my childhood. If I had to pick one word to describe my childhood, it would be ‘happy’.   The question kept coming over and over. I realized it wasn’t just ‘bad’ things that taint our subconscious thinking. Little words said in love or repeated had a way of waiving a story I was tangled in.   Tell me about your childhood … I have dug, and dug and dug … kept wondering if I am missing something big …   A couple...

A personal journey to REBEL

As the world was losing its cool over COVID-19, I find myself (shockingly!) calm and productive. I know I have all the personal growth work I did over the past couple of years to thank. As the entrepreneurial journey became turbulent, self care was my stoic pillar! So what did I do during the COVID-19 quarantine? I birthed an online program based on my personal and real-life transformation … However, before I tell you about the program…..   Let me tell you the story of a girl Striving for perfection, control and constant rushing were a few of my best friends. They had served me well – I finished high school as a salutatorian, wrapped up undergrad with BBA in Finance with honors in 3 years, finished my MBA...

My word for 2020 – COURAGE

It is amazing what awareness, in any aspect, can do for one. Never in a million years did I imagine the life journey that the decision to be an entrepreneur would put me on. Naively, I thought it will be a simple matter of having a new job.  I have education, I have experience, I gathered guts to make the big move...
